I am Sifei Wen, an Asian American cellist who has dedicated my life to the art of music. Currently living and working in Europe, I bring together Eastern and Western influences to create a distinctive approach to cello performance. My journey as a musician has been marked by more than fifteen years of concertizing across America and Europe, gracing stages in both prominent halls and intimate venues. Throughout my career, I have recorded over six studio albums, each reflecting the depth and breadth of my artistic explorations.

A defining moment in my musical path occurred on April 30, 2014, when I presented the world premiere of Vivaldi’s "Four Cello Seasons" with the distinguished National Chamber Ensemble "Sofia Soloists" in Sofia, Bulgaria. This performance marked a milestone not only for me personally but also for the cello repertoire, as I interpreted the legendary Four Seasons violin concertos in their original keys on the cello—a rare and technically demanding feat. My artistic curiosity led me to embrace and experiment with even more challenging violin compositions for the cello, a pursuit that inspired the refinement of new advanced techniques tailored for string instruments. These innovations have enabled me to develop a highly versatile performance style, enhancing my technical command and allowing for greater expressive freedom and fulfillment on stage.
